Former X Factor contestant Diana Vickers recently launched a capsule collection for Very.co.uk. Entitled 'Dee V' the eight-piece collection is clearly influenced by her own personal style. Floral dresses are given a quirky twist with pastel-coloured detailing and flouncy underskirts.
Diana has said of the collection: 'It is important to me that people will look at the collection and see that it has come from me.It is fun with a sophisticated twist. It’s full of unique prints and gorgeous colours.'
Prices range from £18 for a tank top to £99 for a sequin minidress.
Often with such small collections there is a danger of it not being very cohesive as a collection, which unfortunately seems to be the case here. The jeans in particular seem out of place. Having said that, there are some very (excuse the pun!) lovely dresses in this collection and I'm sure if it is well received, the next collection will be bigger.
