What was she wearing?
Alexa Chung loves her Topshop 'Jamie' pink jeans!
Alexa Chung loves her Topshop MOTO pink 'Jamie' skinny jeans! On all three occassions (so far) that she has worn them, she keeps the top half to a muted dark shade, to keep the attention on her jeans.
She was picture in New York (above, left) hailing a cab, pairing her jeans with a dark knitted jumper over a white shirt with turned-up sleeves. She kept her accessories neutral, with a small beige crochet holdall, pale brogues, and dark shades.
She wore the jeans again, this time at the airport, with a vintage band tee, cross-body black quilted Chanel bag, cat-eye sunglasses, and Russell & Bromley lace up boots. On this occassion she added a slick of red lippie.
To complete the transformation from day-to-night, Alexa last wore her jeans to an event, paired with a navy polka-dot shirt, loose-fitting black blazer, black lace-up booties, and the same Chanel cross-body as before.
Alexa is known to continuously re-wear items of clothing that she loves, so I'm sure these jeans will be making many more appearances in the near future.

Nicola Roberts in Topshop
She displayed her usual eclectic style, wearing a purple denim jacket, animal print Mulberry 'Alexa' bag and Topshop silver platform heels. The heels have a very space-age vibe and would be perfect to wear on stage so I'm sure we will see Nicola wear these again at some point.
These heels are so new they are not yet available on Topshop's website but keep your eyes peeled for them!

Runway to Realway: Fruits!
Everyone's gone bananas! Quite literally in Prada's case as they presented shirts and skirts emblazoned with the fruit for their Spring/Summer '11 collection, along with its favourite tasters, monkeys. And they weren't the only ones offering a visual treat; many of the pieces in Stella McCartney's S/S show featured a smattering of grapefruits, lemons, and grapes, plus Suno created a very wearable fruit print midi skirt in their S/S collection. And it would appear that it is a trend that is not about to die down anytime soon as Anna Sui has just presented an autumnal twist on assortment of berries and citrus fruits in her Resort 2012 collection.

Who wore it better? Olivia Palermo vs. Chloe Green
Socialite and star of 'The City' Olivia Palermo is a huge fan of this Topshop skirt, and it appears she's not the only one!
Chloe Green, daughter of Topshop owner Sir Philip Green, wore hers for the Burberry Prorsum A/W '11 presentation during London Fashion Week in February. She layered her skirt over a grey marl body and added a faux-fur cropped cream gilet on top. She wisely kept her hair away from her face in a ballerina bun and added only a single gold chain and diamond studs in the way of accessories.
Olivia wore her skirt a couple of days earlier at the Matthew Williamson A/W '11 presentation at LFW. She wore a cream Matthew Williamson knitted roll-neck with her skirt and accessorised with a Reiss 'Harriman' hat, Zara booties, a brown belt, stack of gold bangles, and a beige embellished clutch. Like Chloe, Olivia added a cream faux-fur jacket over the top of her outfit.
I much prefer this skirt on Olivia, as I like the addition of the belt and the way she has embraced the 70s era with her whole outfit. I don't feel like Chloe's outfit is cohesive; it looks like she saw Olivia's styling and tried to mimic it.

Olivia Palermo in Topshop
Reality star and socialite Olivia Palermo was recently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to take part in the Coca Cola S/S '12 runway show, in which she walked.
On her trip she was pictured in this ensemble, which includes Topshop white pleated shorts. She teamed the floaty wonders with a Masscob white shirt, Lulu Frost necklace, Giambattista Valli ankle-strap heels and a colourful Julia Parker striped clutch.

Who wore it better? Taylor Swift vs. Kate Bosworth
Actress Kate Bosworth attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah earlier this year. She wore a Topshop cream lace skater-style dress for a screening, which she paired with thick black tights and black patent booties.
American songstress Taylor Swift also wore this dress, on a trip to London. She went bare-legged with her look, teaming her dress with monochrome mary-janes. Taylor added an interesting twist by wearing a black tutu underneath, which peacked out at the bottom of the dress. She added a narrow black belt to cinch in her waist. Both ladies added a long-strap purse to complete their outfits.
Although I would style this dress in much the similar way as Kate if I owned it, I love the way Taylor has given the dress an unexpected edge by adding the tutu, which gives the skirt a lovely flouncy shape, so she wins for me.

Emma Watson in Topshop & French Connection
'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson, who is nominated for 'Best Actress' at tonight's MTV Movie Awards, was recently spotted in Paris filming a commercial for Lancome with Mario Testino.
In between takes she changed from her skyscraper heels into these beige Topshop 'Viola' ballet flats, which have a large flower detail. She also wore a French Connection Breton striped top and a flouncy grey skirt.
While the individual components of Emma's outfit are nice, it seems quite a haphazard combination together! There will be a lot of pressure on Emma for the upcoming promotional trail for the last ever Harry Potter movie (!), especially as she was recently voted Glamour magazine's 'Best Dressed' woman in the world, beating Cheryl Cole, who came second, as well as Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Blake Lively and Rihanna amongst others.
Personally, I think Emma's red carpet style, where she is styled by Caroline Sieber, is far superior to her street style, which doesn't stand out to me at all, save for that Glastonbury appearance in Louis Vuitton.

Olivia Wilde in Topshop
Olivia Wilde was recently spotted at the airport wearing this Topshop bike print tee. She wore it under a pink blazer, with denim skinny jeans and a Coach satchel.
I love the way she has paired her printed tee with a blazer and jeans to create a high/low mix of smart/casual. I also have this tee and haven't thought to wear it like this so I think I might try to recreate this look myself.

Tulisa Contostavlos in Topshop
New 'X Factor' judge, Tulisa Contostavlos of the group N-Dubz, was recently spotted at the airport wearing this Topshop peach 70s floral jumpsuit.
She teamed her pretty jumpsuit with a white blazer and a brown satchel.
Although we can't see her feet in this picture I hope she's wearing some tan wedges.
What footwear would you like to see with this look?
It will be interesting to see how Tulisa's style develops as the X Factor auditions continue.
